Return & Refund Policy

At Freight Logistic, we recognize that reliable transportation, secure cargo handling, and transparent delivery arrangements are essential to every successful shipment. This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, delivery disputes, damaged goods, and shipping-related claims are handled across our domestic and international logistics network.

Domestic Shipping International Freight Door-to-Door Delivery
Our Commitment to Fair and Transparent Service

Freight Logistic is committed to treating customers fairly and professionally throughout the transportation process. Whether a customer sends a parcel across the country or arranges an international freight shipment, we aim to provide clear information about shipping charges, cancellations, refunds, delivery exceptions, and the procedures for reporting problems.

01

Introduction and Scope of This Policy

This Return and Refund Policy establishes the procedures and conditions under which Freight Logistic considers requests for refunds, shipment cancellations, service adjustments, and compensation claims. It applies to eligible domestic and international shipping services arranged directly through Freight Logistic.

Our services may include local parcel transportation, nationwide delivery, international air freight, sea freight, commercial cargo transportation, business-to-business logistics, residential delivery, and door-to-door shipping arrangements.

Because transportation services involve collection, processing, documentation, handling, storage, customs procedures, and physical movement of goods, they are different from ordinary retail purchases. A completed transportation service cannot always be physically returned in the same way as a conventional product.

Accordingly, refund eligibility depends on the stage of the shipment, the reason for the request, the services already performed, the applicable contract, and any mandatory consumer protection or transportation laws.

02

Understanding Returns in Freight and Logistics

In the logistics industry, a return generally refers to a shipment being redirected to its original sender, returned from a recipient, or transported back to a designated address after an unsuccessful delivery or another authorized arrangement.

Freight Logistic does not automatically treat a returned shipment as a refundable shipment. Return transportation may involve additional handling, storage, customs documentation, administrative processing, and transportation charges.

A customer requesting a return must contact our support team and provide the tracking number, shipment reference, sender information, recipient details, and reason for the requested return.

Return arrangements may be considered in cases involving:

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses.
  • Recipient refusal, where the applicable shipping terms permit a return.
  • Delivery attempts that remain unsuccessful after the applicable procedures.
  • Customer-requested shipment redirection or return.
  • Prohibited or restricted goods identified during processing.
  • Customs rejection or other cross-border delivery restrictions.
  • Verified operational or transportation errors attributable to Freight Logistic.

Before arranging a return, we will communicate any applicable costs, documentation requirements, and available alternatives to the customer. No additional charge should be imposed without an appropriate contractual or legal basis.

03

Eligibility for Refunds

Refund requests are assessed individually. Freight Logistic considers whether the requested transportation service has commenced, whether the customer has already received part or all of the contracted service, and whether the circumstances giving rise to the request are covered by the applicable service agreement.

A customer may qualify for a full or partial refund where the relevant circumstances and applicable law support such a remedy.

Potentially Eligible Refund Situations

  • A shipment is cancelled before collection or processing begins.
  • A payment is duplicated or incorrectly charged.
  • Freight Logistic cancels a service and cannot provide the agreed alternative.
  • A confirmed service failure makes a refund appropriate under the agreement.
  • A customer is charged for a service that was not provided.
  • An incorrect amount is collected and requires adjustment.

Where a shipment has already been collected, processed, transported, stored, or delivered, the refund calculation may account for the services already performed and reasonable, disclosed, contractually permitted costs.

Nothing in this policy excludes a refund, compensation, or other remedy that a customer is entitled to receive under applicable law.

04

Non-Refundable Charges and Services

Certain charges may be non-refundable once the relevant service has been performed or the expense has been incurred. This does not mean that every charge is automatically non-refundable. Each request will be reviewed against the agreed service terms and applicable law.

Examples may include:

  • Completed transportation services.
  • Collection or handling services already performed.
  • Special packaging or crating services already completed.
  • Third-party services that have been performed and cannot be recovered.
  • Storage or warehouse charges properly incurred.
  • Return transportation costs authorized under the shipping agreement.
  • Customs duties, taxes, or government charges already paid to the relevant authority, subject to applicable recovery procedures.
  • Additional delivery attempts requested by the customer.
Important: Refund restrictions do not apply where mandatory law requires a refund or where a charge is found to have been collected improperly.
05

Shipment Cancellation Policy

Customers who wish to cancel a shipment should contact Freight Logistic as early as possible. The ability to cancel without additional costs depends on whether collection, processing, transportation, or other services have already commenced.

Before Shipment Collection

Where a cancellation request is received and accepted before collection or processing begins, the customer may qualify for a refund of eligible shipping charges, subject to any disclosed booking or payment-processing charges that may lawfully be retained.

After Collection but Before Dispatch

Once goods have been collected, cancellation may require additional handling, retrieval, sorting, storage, or return arrangements. Any deductions must reflect properly incurred and contractually permitted costs.

After Dispatch or During Transit

A shipment that has entered transit may not be immediately cancellable. The customer may request a delivery hold, interception, redirection, or return-to-sender arrangement. Such requests are subject to operational feasibility, carrier restrictions, customs requirements, and applicable charges.

After Successful Delivery

Once delivery has been completed in accordance with the agreed service, a cancellation request generally cannot reverse the transportation service already provided. However, customers may still raise a valid claim concerning damage, loss, misdelivery, billing errors, or another service failure.

06

Domestic Shipping Refunds

Domestic shipments are deliveries transported within the same country. They may involve residential deliveries, commercial addresses, warehouses, distribution centers, regional transport facilities, and designated collection points.

For domestic shipping, refund requests are reviewed according to the service selected, delivery commitments, shipment status, and the circumstances of the reported problem.

Where a delivery fails because of an error directly attributable to Freight Logistic, we will investigate and determine whether a refund, service adjustment, redelivery, or other appropriate resolution is warranted.

Where delivery fails because the recipient supplied an incorrect address, was unavailable, refused the shipment, or failed to provide necessary access or delivery instructions, additional arrangements may be required. Any resulting charges will be assessed in accordance with the applicable shipping agreement.

07

International Shipping Refunds

International shipping involves additional procedures that do not always apply to domestic transportation. These may include export documentation, import declarations, customs inspections, duties, taxes, regulatory approvals, security screening, and coordination with international transportation partners.

Because international shipments may pass through several jurisdictions and independent service providers, refund requests can require additional investigation.

International refund considerations include:

  • Whether export clearance has been completed.
  • Whether the shipment has departed the origin country.
  • Whether the destination country permits the goods to be imported.
  • Whether customs duties or taxes have been assessed.
  • Whether an international carrier has already performed its service.
  • Whether the shipment has been detained, rejected, or returned by customs.
  • Whether a delivery restriction or regulatory requirement applies.

Freight Logistic will explain the available options when an international shipment cannot proceed as originally planned. These may include additional documentation, a permitted alternative delivery arrangement, return transportation, or a refund where the circumstances justify it.

Customs and government charges: Customs duties, import taxes, inspection charges, and other government assessments are not automatically refundable by Freight Logistic. Recovery, where possible, may require a separate application to the relevant government authority.
08

Door-to-Door Delivery Refund Conditions

Our door-to-door delivery arrangements are intended to simplify transportation by coordinating collection from the sender's designated location and delivery to the recipient's designated address.

A door-to-door shipment may involve collection scheduling, parcel verification, packaging, warehouse processing, transportation, tracking, customs coordination, final-mile delivery, and proof of delivery.

Where a door-to-door service is not completed as agreed because of a verified failure attributable to Freight Logistic, the company will review the matter and determine an appropriate remedy.

Customers should provide accurate collection and destination addresses, valid contact details, access instructions, and any documentation required for transportation.

Failed delivery caused by incorrect addresses, unavailable recipients, restricted access, or missing import documentation may require rescheduling or other arrangements. Any associated costs must be disclosed and supported by the applicable agreement.

09

Damaged Goods and Cargo Claims

Freight Logistic understands the importance of protecting parcels, commercial cargo, personal belongings, and business consignments during transportation. Customers who receive damaged shipments should report the matter promptly so that the condition of the goods and packaging can be properly investigated.

Where reasonably possible, customers should inspect their shipment before signing an unrestricted delivery acknowledgment. If the packaging is visibly damaged, the recipient should record the condition and notify the delivery representative.

Evidence required for a damage claim may include:

  • The shipment tracking number or consignment reference.
  • Photographs of the damaged goods.
  • Photographs of the outer packaging and internal protective materials.
  • Proof of purchase or declared cargo value.
  • Delivery documentation and any damage notation.
  • A written description of the damage and when it was discovered.
  • Repair estimates or replacement documentation, where applicable.

Claims will be assessed according to the evidence, the condition of the goods at collection, packaging requirements, the circumstances of transportation, any applicable insurance coverage, and the governing liability rules.

Freight Logistic may request an inspection or additional supporting documentation before reaching a decision. Customers should retain the damaged goods and packaging until the investigation is complete, unless instructed otherwise.

10

Lost or Missing Shipments

A shipment may occasionally experience a tracking interruption, transportation delay, sorting error, or delivery discrepancy. A shipment should not automatically be classified as lost merely because tracking information has not updated for a short period.

When a customer reports a missing shipment, Freight Logistic will review available tracking information, collection records, transportation documentation, warehouse scans, delivery records, and communications with relevant logistics partners.

Where an investigation confirms that a shipment has been lost, the available remedy will be determined by the applicable shipping agreement, declared value, liability limits, insurance arrangements, and mandatory legal requirements.

Customers should report suspected loss as soon as reasonably possible. Applicable contractual and statutory claim deadlines may affect the availability of a remedy.

11

Incorrect Address, Refused Delivery and Undeliverable Parcels

Accurate delivery information is essential to successful transportation. Customers are responsible for checking the spelling, postal code, recipient name, telephone number, and other address information provided during booking.

If a shipment cannot be delivered, Freight Logistic may attempt to contact the sender or recipient to confirm the correct information and determine the next available arrangement.

Depending on the shipment and applicable service terms, the available options may include a further delivery attempt, address correction, collection from an authorized facility, redirection, or return to sender.

Where a customer requests a return or redirection, additional charges may apply if disclosed in the applicable agreement. Undeliverable goods will be handled in accordance with applicable storage, abandonment, disposal, and transportation laws.

12

Refund Request Procedure

Customers who believe they qualify for a refund should submit a written request to the Freight Logistic customer support department. Providing complete information helps us identify the shipment and investigate the circumstances without unnecessary delays.

Information to include in your request:

  • Full name of the sender or account holder.
  • Shipment tracking number or booking reference.
  • Payment reference or transaction identification.
  • Date the shipping service was booked.
  • Amount paid and currency used.
  • Clear explanation of the reason for the refund request.
  • Supporting documents, photographs, or correspondence.
  • Preferred contact information for follow-up.

After receiving the request, our support team will acknowledge it, verify the relevant booking and payment records, and investigate the reported issue.

We may request additional information where necessary. A refund decision will be communicated with an explanation of the outcome and any applicable deductions or alternative resolution.

13

Refund Processing Timeframes

Once a refund has been approved, Freight Logistic will initiate the refund through the appropriate payment method, subject to payment-provider procedures and applicable law.

The time required for funds to appear in a customer's account may depend on the original payment method, financial institution, currency, payment processor, and international banking procedures.

Refund Stage What Happens
Request Received The refund request is recorded and acknowledged.
Verification Shipment, payment, and service records are reviewed.
Decision The customer is informed whether the request is approved or declined.
Refund Initiated Approved funds are submitted through the appropriate payment channel.
Bank Processing The payment provider or financial institution completes its processing.

Where possible, our team will provide an estimated processing time after approval. Such estimates are not guarantees of the date on which a bank or payment provider will credit the funds.

14

Refunds to Original Payment Methods

As a general practice, approved refunds will be returned using the original payment method whenever reasonably possible and legally permitted.

For example, a payment originally made through a bank card may be refunded to the same card. Payments made through an authorized bank transfer or digital payment service may be returned through the corresponding payment channel.

Where the original payment method is no longer available, the customer may be asked to provide reasonable verification and alternative payment information. Freight Logistic will assess the available options while following applicable fraud prevention and financial compliance requirements.

Refunds will ordinarily be made in the original transaction currency where the payment system supports it. Currency conversion and exchange-rate differences may affect the final amount received.

15

Shipping Insurance and Declared Cargo Value

Customers transporting valuable, fragile, commercial, or sensitive goods should carefully review the available insurance and declared value arrangements before confirming a shipment.

Standard freight charges do not necessarily include comprehensive insurance coverage. Any optional insurance must be expressly selected, confirmed, and governed by its own applicable terms.

Where insurance has been purchased, claims may require additional documentation, including proof of value, shipment details, photographs, and evidence of the reported loss or damage.

Insurance claims may be administered by an independent insurer and may be subject to separate coverage conditions, exclusions, deductibles, and claim deadlines.

Freight Logistic does not promise automatic reimbursement of the full declared value of every shipment. Any compensation is subject to the applicable coverage, transportation agreement, and legal requirements.

16

Prohibited and Restricted Goods

Certain goods cannot be transported through our logistics network because of safety restrictions, national laws, international regulations, customs requirements, carrier restrictions, or transportation security standards.

Customers must accurately disclose the contents of their shipments and must not conceal prohibited or restricted items.

Examples may include illegal substances, unauthorized weapons, explosives, hazardous materials, counterfeit goods, prohibited wildlife products, and other restricted commodities.

If a shipment is rejected because it contains prohibited goods or violates applicable transportation requirements, the shipment may be held, returned, surrendered, or otherwise handled as required by law.

Any refund determination will consider the circumstances, the services already performed, the applicable agreement, and legal requirements. Freight Logistic will not refund charges merely because a customer failed to disclose restricted shipment contents.

17

Delivery Delays and Service Interruptions

Freight transportation may be affected by circumstances outside the immediate control of the logistics provider. These may include severe weather, natural disasters, airport congestion, port disruptions, strikes, customs inspections, regulatory changes, security incidents, and transportation network interruptions.

When a delay occurs, Freight Logistic will make reasonable efforts to obtain updated information from the relevant transportation partners and communicate material changes to affected customers.

A delivery delay does not automatically establish entitlement to a refund. Refund eligibility will depend on the delivery commitment purchased, the cause of the delay, the applicable contract, and mandatory legal requirements.

Where a service guarantee has expressly been purchased, its specific terms will determine the remedies available for qualifying delays.

18

Chargebacks, Payment Disputes and Duplicate Transactions

Customers who notice an incorrect charge, duplicate payment, or unauthorized transaction should contact Freight Logistic promptly so that the matter can be reviewed.

We will examine relevant invoices, booking records, payment confirmations, and transaction references to identify the source of the discrepancy.

Where an error is confirmed, an appropriate correction or refund will be arranged in accordance with the applicable payment procedures and legal requirements.

Customers retain any rights they have to dispute transactions through their bank, card issuer, or payment provider. Submitting a complaint to Freight Logistic does not remove any applicable statutory payment-dispute rights.

19

Customer Responsibilities

Every customer plays an important role in ensuring the safe and successful transportation of goods. Accurate information and appropriate preparation help prevent unnecessary delays, additional handling, and delivery complications.

Customers are expected to:

  • Provide complete and accurate sender and recipient information.
  • Declare the correct contents and value of goods.
  • Use suitable packaging for the nature of the shipment.
  • Comply with applicable customs and import regulations.
  • Provide requested documentation within reasonable timeframes.
  • Make payments according to the agreed service terms.
  • Respond to reasonable requests for shipment clarification.
  • Inspect deliveries and report visible damage promptly.
  • Keep shipment references, receipts, and supporting records.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect delivery, claim investigation, or refund eligibility where permitted by the applicable agreement and law.

20

Refund Review and Dispute Resolution

If a customer disagrees with a refund decision, the customer may request a further review by providing additional information or evidence relevant to the original request.

Freight Logistic aims to resolve complaints through fair, transparent, and reasonable communication. Where appropriate, a complaint may be escalated to a designated customer service supervisor or complaints department.

Customers are encouraged to retain all correspondence and supporting documents relating to their shipment and payment.

Nothing in this policy limits the right of a customer to seek assistance from a competent consumer protection authority, transportation regulator, court, or other legally authorized dispute-resolution body.

21

Limitation of This Policy

This Return and Refund Policy should be read together with the applicable shipping agreement, service description, transportation conditions, insurance documents, and any other terms provided during booking.

Where different documents address the same issue, the applicable contractual terms and mandatory legal provisions will govern.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict liability where such exclusion or restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

In particular, statutory consumer rights, mandatory carrier liability rules, and applicable international transportation conventions remain unaffected where they apply.

22

Changes to Our Return and Refund Policy

Freight Logistic may update this policy to reflect changes in transportation procedures, service offerings, payment arrangements, legal requirements, or business operations.

The latest published version should be consulted before making a new booking or submitting a refund request.

Where a change materially affects an existing booking, the applicable agreement and mandatory legal requirements will determine which version and terms apply.
